Changning looks to boost public service

This year, Changning District will carry out 12 government projects to improve people’s livelihood level, enhance public service capacity and optimize the living environment.

Since 2017, Changning has been continuously promoting the implementation of 1 million square meters of high-quality residential community construction.

Changning will add 110 beds for the elderly, two new comprehensive elderly service centers, three new daytime service centers for the elderly and eight new meal service points.

Shanghai has launched a new round of breakfast project construction, focusing on building four new scenarios and create innovative supply modes. This year, Changning plans to build 40 new “breakfast project points.”

Besides, the district will also improve sports and fitness facilities, transform barrier-free facilities for disabled people, organize civil air defense works and promote parking place sharing.
