Changning backs development of quality enterprises

Ushopal, a local beauty retailer registered in Changning District, has expanded its brand group by inking partnership agreements with Bilk Homme, a Japanese men’s skincare brand, and ARgENTUM, a British luxury skincare brand, showcasing the increasing influence of the Chinese enterprise.

Ushopal is a brand acceleration group that partners and invests in luxury brands in the beauty and wellness sector to promote the brands’ sales in China. Its business focuses on niche, global luxury beauty brands with limited awareness in China. In 2020, the firm’s gross merchandise volume (GMV) reached over US$200 million.

It now boasts 15 international brands such as Natura Bisse, Chantecaille, SUQQU, Juliette Has A Gun and Aveeno.

The fast development of Ushopal is the epitome of Changning actively taking advantage of the spillover effect of the China International Import Expo, whose fourth edition concluded on Wednesday.

With the help of the Changning government, Ushopal’s Bonnie & Clyde, a luxury beauty and skin care brand incubation platform, has become one of the “6 days + 365 days” transaction service platforms in the district.

During the investment ceremony at the CIIE, Changning Party Secretary Wang Lan witnessed the signing of the cooperation deals.

Besides Wang also visited a batch of exhibitors’ booths from Changning and inquired about their expo performance.
